Kansas Territory regarding the question of slavery, the question being
put to the inhabitants of the territory due to the passage of the
Kansas-Nebraska Act (1854) which repealed the Missouri Compromise
(1820-21). This report includes the details of the elections and sundry
associated frauds and shenanigans - a precursor to the American Civil
War.
