Hardcover. Rufus Rockwell Wilson, 1936, first edition. In very good condition, inscription on front endpaper, pages toning, glue shows through endpapers. DJ is fair, chips, tears, and small edge pieces missing, protected in mylar cover. Canoe Launcher, or Sacajawea as she hs come down to us in history, was a Shoshone Indian slave captured by the Minnetarres. She grew up with them but always here eyes were fixed with longing on her Shoshone home, south of the sunset.
